Italy in October - what could be better? At the start of the month, we had the privilege of bringing 10 designers from various parts of Canada and US to the glorious Veneto region in Italy, the birthplace of Fulgor Milano. Our time together was filled with inspiration from the incredible sights and surroundings, rich local culture and visits to Vittorio Veneto and Venice where special design-centric tours were arranged. We also had a chance to give our guests a tour of the Fulgor Milano factory.

Having the opportunity to showcase Fulgor Milano’s production and design process in person was an experience for everyone. It was important to present our Italian craftsmanship as part of this and really, what better way to do that than in Italy? Here, the designers were able to experience the passion that goes into every product and meet some of our incredible staff - the hard-working people behind our appliances.

“You can see the quality and craftsmanship of these appliances when you specify them in a kitchen space. But it’s not until you are fully immersed in the brand's origins that you truly understand the integrity of the design of the appliances,” said Sarah Robertson, Principal and Founder, Studio Dearborn. “We were able to see the production process up close while we visited the factory. We met the skilled employees who take the utmost pride in their work, and witnessed exactly what goes into every finished product. An astounding amount of culture and history is infused into the production processes; we are so fortunate to have experienced this all first-hand.”
