48” Sofia Pro Induction Range Now Available for Purchase

The highly anticipated 48” Sofia Professional Induction Range designed by the Italian luxury appliance manufacturer, Fulgor Milano, is officially available for purchase in the North American market.

As the number of regions banning the use of natural gas in new construction continues to grow, Fulgor Milano’s new 48” induction range is the optimal alternative for consumers who still want the look, feel and performance of a traditional 48” pro range, with no greenhouse gas emissions. In light of recent media attention surrounding the decision to ban natural gas stoves in the United States, kitchen designers and consumers may be considering alternate options for their ranges.

The 48” Induction range, with and without a griddle, offers a variety of functions to meet any kitchen demand. Premium technology delivers precise and responsive induction power using professional-style control knobs one might expect on a gas range. Unlike many competitors with digital touch controls, this feature gives homeowners the benefits of digital control but with the same look and tactile pro-style control expected on a traditional professional range.

With premium induction technology under an elegant ceramic glass surface, the range delivers optimal performance with an efficient transfer of energy, providing a more sustainable heat source for cooking. Available in two models, homeowners can choose between seven induction cooking zones, or five induction cooking zones and a dual-zone induction powered griddle, both of which emulate a traditional gas range setup.

Meticulously handcrafted and assembled in Bassano del Grappa, Italy, Sofia Professional appliances demonstrate the best of Italian craftsmanship and attention to detail with hand-polished seams and welds. The fit and finish are perfected with precision-tooled parts using premium materials, including 304 stainless steel, aircraft quality aluminum, and tempered glass.

As with all Sofia Professional ranges, the 48” Sofia Professional Induction Ranges come with a standard stainless-steel finish; however, homeowners have the option to personalize their purchased Sofia range with interchangeable door kits available in six matte and glossy colors including Venetian Red, Gondola Black (gloss black), Black Velvet (matte black), Palladio White (gloss white), Verona White (matte white), and Rialto Grey. This flexible and sustainable solution extends the design life of the ranges, ideal for real estate resale or a change in design preference.

Fulgor Milano was selected as one of 10 brands for the DesignBites competition on the KBIS NEXT Stage at 12:00 pm on January 31st in addition to being named a Best of KBIS 2023 Finalist for this 48” Induction product.
